Atrial Fibrillation Center of Arizona was established to meet the specific needs of patients with Atrial Fibrillation who are either intolerant or refractory to medical treatment. Because of the wide clinical spectrum in patients with atrial fibrillation, with varying severity of symptoms and different risk profile a single standard treatment strategy is not feasible.
At the Atrial Fibrillation Center we have a team of Cardiac Electrophysiologists (EP), Physician assistants/Nurse Practitioners, Nurse, Research Coordinator, and the EP Staff who are dedicated to treatment of this disorder. We believe that the treatment for each patient should be individualized and take into account the severity, frequency of symptoms and their risk profile.
The Atrial Fibrillation Center of Arizona offers comprehensive treatment for patients with atrial fibrillation. Team of electrophysiologists, and specially-trained nurses/physician assistants employ state of art therapy for patients with atrial fibrillation.
In addition, physicians at The Center for Atrial Fibrillation are engaged in scientific and clinical investigations focused on improving our understanding of the causes and mechanism of atrial fibrillation. Knowledge gained from these endeavors will allow us to develop better techniques and tools, which in turn will help in improving the efficacy of current treatment options.
This website is designed to serve as an educational resource for both patients and health care professionals. We will periodically update this site is to provide latest information about atrial fibrillation and current treatment options/strategies.
GOALS:
- To provide the state-of-the-art treatments for patients with atrial fibrillation.
- To be an educational resource for both patients and health care professionals.
- To pursue scientific and clinical investigations focused on improving our understanding of the underlying causes of atrial fibrillation thereby improving treatment outcomes.
